This game was #27 in the Nancy Drew Series, with a new game coming out at the end of April (hopefully!). I have played every Nancy Drew mystery except for "Tomb of the Unknown Queen." I've always been a big fan and student of Ancient History and Egyptology, so, this last game should be right down my alley!

This one had it all! Difficult and diabolically demanding puzzles, locks, dangerous electrical devices, timed episodes (several) in which you had to do so much in so little time, and a "timed entrapment" in the vents above the main lab. Trying to find my way out of the "vents maze" was the most agonizing time I have ever spent in any Drew game.

What I liked about this particular entry was that all of the puzzles had to do with the game, itself, and were not just "thrown in" as "so much extra baggage" as they were in my least favorite of all of the games in the series, "Shadow at the Water's Edge" (UGH!)

The plot was great, with so many suspects to choose from, and the graphics and sound, with voice-overs, were superb to the extreme.

This game is of the very highest caliber, and I think that NANCY DREW HAS FINALLY COME OF AGE! BRAVA, HERINTERACTIVE!

This is a good game, but sometimes the game gets so confusing you have to consult a walkthru or you will get nowhere. It's hard to believe these games are meant for the age group they recommend because as an adult I find them very challenging!

Not the best Nancy Drew I have played. Not crazy about the story, but - as always - have always had good purchases and feedback through Amazon. Not a problem with service at all.

I loved it! I love to play these games with my sister and the ending did not disappoint! It didn't go too fast either, great pace and great mystery.

I've played almost all of the Nancy Drew games since the beginning. This game was great! It felt very exciting and the plot of the game was absolutely phenomenal. One has to switch the time of day from day to night to talk to certain characters and although toward the middle of the game I was able to somewhat pinpoint who did it I was, but over all this was a great game and I can't wait for the next one.

Okay, so most of Nancy’s adventures are pretty thrilling, but this was one of the best I’ve played in a LONG time. To my knowledge, this is the first time in ages that Nancy has investigated a homicide. You’re called to a laboratory to investigate the suspicious death of a physicist, and the game is filled with some excellent puzzles and good character dynamics as you peel back the layers to find out the motive and identity of the killer. Being a science nerd at heart, I loved this one.

Most of the puzzles had a scientific theme, from mixing chemicals to wiring circuits. For the most part, these puzzles were very well designed, and they didn’t just stand alone; they played important roles in the plot. One scientific flaw was that no explosion takes place if you add water to acid. This was disappointing because it would have been an excellent opportunity to teach an important point about lab safety. Also, hydrofluoric acid is horrifically toxic, so the developers would have been smart to make Nancy don gloves and a face mask. However, given the awesomeness of the rest of the game, I couldn’t bring myself to take off points for this; HerInteractive should just do some better research next time.

I liked the characters in this game, and all of the conflicts between them. Mason reminded me of Sheldon Cooper. The music in this game was hauntingly beautiful, and it set the tone very well.

If you’re trying to decide which game to buy, get this one. It is definitely one of the better games.

I used to love Nancy Drew games but I have a feeling each new game gets more and more like the previous one. The graphics are good as usual but too much walking back and forth and loooong conversations about NOTHING. I find older games more interesting, e.g. Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon, The Secret of Shadow Ranch are the best in my opinion. Newer games haven't beat them yet in terms of plot/suspense, even though they improved the graphics.

Learn all about Tesla and the way electricity works. I play these games with my daughter. We started when she was a pre-teen and continued. She is now in college and we still enjoy doing these together. These days we connect the computer to our tv screen, I sew on a quilt and she drives the mouse. We make joint decisions about what to do. There is a "console" video game inside this game that is fun - I would actually get it for my android phone if it was available to play.
