Nancy Drew is in a tight spot! It all starts when Nancy trails a masked jewel thief in the woodlands around River Heights. After running into a group of hikers, Nancy asks if they’ve seen anyone, only to find that one of the hikers is also the thief! Stefan Petrucha has written X-Files comics and for Disney comics. He is the author of a few YA series: “Timetripper" (Razorbill), "Frankenstein" (DK Books), "Wicked Dead" with Thomas Pendleton (Harper Collins) and the young adult fiction title, Teen Inc. (Walker Books for Young Readers). His latest hardcover, “The Rule of Won,” was published in September 2008 to rave reviews.
Sarah Kinney has written over 150 original Disney comics for Egmont Publishing. She recently finished scripting the animated feature “Blaze of Glory” for Santoon Productions.
Sho Murase is active in animation. Her first color graphic novel “SEI” was published by Image Comics in 2003, and her art has been displayed at galleries around the world including the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark.

"Cliffhanger" is installment #19 in the Nancy Drew graphic novel series, the latest reincarnation of Carolyn Keene's popular girl detective. Reimagined into the 21st Century, Nancy Drew, her friends Bess and George, boyfriend Ned, and father Carson Drew take on a whole new set of mysteries in River Heights.
As the story opens, Nancy is dangling precariously from a cliff, high above a gorge in a nature preserve. The story goes backward to describe how she got there, and then forward to show how Nancy tries to work herself out of a dangerous jam. All the while, Nancy's amazing brain is trying to solve the mystery of who pushed her over the cliff, and why. If and when a potential rescuer finally shows up, could it be the killer and can Nancy talk them into a rescue? "Cliffhanger" is an exciting story with plenty of suspense, and some surprising humor. It is highly recommended to fans of the new Nancy Drew graphic novels.

One of the best of the Nancy Drew graphic novels starts off with Nancy checking out a cut rope bring and end up spending the whole book hanging on for dear life. While the others in her group look for a rare plant she struggles to figure out who tried to kill her because if the killer finds her before she figures it out her attempted murder may go all the way.
