Lopez's book, written with an editor at Golf Digest, is not so complete, despite its title. The ten-year veteran covers very briefly the usual gamut of golfing fundamentals step by step. The most interesting parts of the book are "The Lopez File," brief appraisals of female players who have impressed Lopez on the tour, and "Some of My Favorite Men." While Lopez gives some special tips for women only, her tour record and recent induction into the LPGA Hall of Fame (July 1987) call for a more in-depth presentation than this effort. Still, this should be of interest to YA and high school libraries, as well as Lopez fans. Eugene J. Millich, Univ. of Wisconsin at La Crosse Lib.

I am learning a lot from this book. It is easy to understand. It has more information and lots more pictures than others I have read. The pictures show the entire sequence of the swing ... great for getting an image in your mind of what she is saying. All the basic shots are included in the picture sequences, and more. I originally got this book from the library, but now I am buying it.
