I received this bag as a gift. I have used it for about 2 years and have exclusively used it for taking my DSLR everywhere I wanted to take photos, traveling across the country (US) or across town.
Cons: This bag has extremely poor build quality. For something that claims to have ballistic nylon, it has come apart at four seam locations including locations on the strap. The pleather like material for the shoulder pad started to chaff off and I had to use a bit of gaffers tape in hopes to stop the shoulder pad from falling apart on me. I wish I could post photos to show you how bad it is and how easily the material is coming apart. Also, the small compass on the side is practically useless. The designer of the bag needs to do some rethinking if he is going to place a small compass next to a magnetic clasp. I felt the bag had a lot of potential when I got it, but I am now extremely dissatisfied with the bag and the Naneu Pro bag company.
Pros: It has enough room to store my D40 with 18-55mm attached, 55-200mm, 50mm, flash, 2 lens filters, a few extra lens caps, Giottos air blower, a teddy bear (more on this later), memory card reader, memory card holder, GPS, IPOD, and cables and travel accessories (ie. passport, checkbook, plan ticket stubs, travel brochures, etc.). As you can tell, this bag can store a lot, it is comfortable and is easy to travel with. I have never really noticed the weight of the bag with everything in it and I tend to walk around with it everywhere whether through Las Vegas heat or through Alaskan cold. It does have a lifetime warranty, but since it was a gift it has some sentimental value and I would rather not part with the original bag I have.
Comments: If you do plan to purchase this bag, be aware that the top of the bag has no cushioning for the camera. Even with all my accessories stored in this bag, it tends to be top heavy and tips over easily. I use the teddy bear to protect my camera in the case I set the bag on a table and it unknowingly topples over. The bottom has some light cushioning and I would be careful of setting down this bag too fast. Though I would say it has the same amount of cushion as every other camera bag. The inner cushioning can also be taken out and can be used to store your camera or have it transfered to another bag.
All in all, I am currently looking for a new bag and not one from Naneu Pro.
