Great toy, loads of fun and great display when completed. I was able to get several done in a few hours and have them lined up on a display shelf.

This is a construction game which has also a cultural dimension. Through nanoblock games kids learn about historic buildings in the world.

My husband loves legos, but they tend to take up too much room in our house. After forcing him to put numerous kits in the attic, I bought him this building set as a compromise. He loves it because it has a high degree of difficulty and I love it because it is so tiny. This is a great stocking stuffer. I do not recommend it for small children as the pieces are extremely small. However, for the pre-teens and older, this is a great set. The detail is incredible considering just how small this is! Also, the pricing online was much better than in the stores.

We like to build our own models instead of following directions, so we purchased this set for the 550 mostly brown bricks. Brick for brick, these are much cheaper than LEGO and I like them just as much. There isn't as much variety in the shapes of available pieces, but this forces you to be more creative. I highly recommend Nanoblocks for older kids and adults who like to build small! Our order arrived quickly and they were packed neatly so the boxes didn't get smashed. Thanks Amazon.

Much more difficult than regular legos. It takes grip strength and small fingers. Instructions difficult to follow. Need to increase age.

These nanoblock sets are interesting to do and addictive. I've done seven so far. This one is unusual because it only shows the building from one side (or maybe as it looked at a certain time -- the building is still under construction). These nanoblock plans have a little flaw: a couple of stacks in the back aren't very well-supported. They give you extra pieces, so I was able to reinforce those stacks a bit without affecting the appearance. It's still an interesting model -- it just might be better to do a couple of others before trying this one.

My ranking so far:

Mont Saint-Michel
Neuschwanstein Castle (small)
Empire State Building
Easter Island statues
Eiffel Tower
Taj Mahal
Sagrada Familia

My son loved it. I can't help him with such small bricks unless I have magnifying glass and medical instruments, but his fingers are small enough and eyes sharp enough for such precision.
