Customer Reviews

The blocks are very small (nano) but the completed set looks really good.

I also got a Metal Marvels Eiffel Tower model which was not-as-fun to put together - frustrating, actually, but VERY pretty to look at when it was done!

Executive Summary: Ludique, good for psychomotor development, captivating, good for kids and for adults.

I think this product is perfect. I have two lego kids and I love building with them. But a masterpiece you have built with legos is too big to display. With the nanoblocks you can build the masterpiece and have it out on your desk for display. The blocks are constructed well but are not fancy. Note: The blocks are very small so you have to be able to manipulate them. They would also be too frustrating for kids under 12.

This set was well-received by my 10yo daughter, who loves Lego blocks and the Eiffel Tower. The blocks are very small (nano) but the completed set looks really good.

We chose the Eiffel Tower design because my daughter has dreams of visiting there one day. This set contained 200 pieces and kept her busy all afternoon long. She did say that some portions were challenging due to the tiny pieces. Too much pressure on the little blocks and it would fall apart. However, if you take it slowly rather than rushing through the process you'll find that building these sets can actually be very relaxing. And when you're done you'll have a work of art (measured 3.125w x 4.75h x 3.125d) suitable for displaying.

What we really liked about the Nanoblock Effle Tower is all the intricate details . . . down to the tiny trees. Kacie loves the way it tured out and she has her tower proudly sitting on her bookshelf high out of the reach of her little sisters' hands. Even I have to say I'm amazed at the way it turned out. Who knew that a set of blocks could create something so pretty!

Executive Summary:
Ludique, good for psychomotor development, captivating, good for kids and for adults.

Pro's:
Small enough that you can keep the final build as trophee on shelf, and they look nice enough that they do not ruin the ambiance! the instructions are clear and easy to follow; there are several spares of the blocks so if you loose one, you are still good to go; the blocks come in separate bags according to their shape, helps you to find what you need; it is good for the kids as they improve their hand and finger control on these small blocks;

Con's:
Small blocks may be a challenge for clumsy hands? if you need to disassemble, you will need some tools, such as tweezers.

I saw the Eiffel Tower at a store and decided to buy it, thinking that it would be perfect for my desk. I really was enchanted and have since ordered the Mont Saint Michel. I will certainly continue with Tintin. What I really like is the small size which allows for keeping. I must compliment the artistry of the creators as the final product looks pretty good.
It is even small enough that you can take it with you on trips, good for sharing and fun with your kids.

Yes it is small, "Nano" remember? but it is not that difficult to build. And you will fill proud of what you made. Kudo's to the Japanese company that design these "Nanoblocks".

I received this from my son and husband for Christmas. I love the Eiffel Tower and itty-bitty things like doll houses, etc. I always end up helping with my son's new Legos at Christmas, so they got me this. It is VERY cool. I did, however, have to break out my beading tools and use the needle-nosed pliers to help my fumble-fingers with a couple of the singular blocks. They are REALLY tiny! Loads of fun - I want more! (I also got a Metal Marvels Eiffel Tower model which was not-as-fun to put together - frustrating, actually, but VERY pretty to look at when it was done!)

They are much smaller and easier to store. The 2 X 4 bricks are the size of a 1 X 2 Lego plate. We have literally hundreds of pounds of LEGO from the kids over the years and they take up half the garage. We have now collected about 16,000 nanoblock pieces and they fit in a 5 gallon organizing bin. I don't have any trouble building with the smaller pieces. Love these nanoblocks. Time to offload the LEGO.

The first Nanoblock kit I have ever purchased. Needless to say, I had to buy more! Love the miniature size. A great souvenir gift for those who travel around the world, especially to France! Love Nanoblocks!

Although the 8 year old child like legos, the small pieces make it difficult for him to work with. I will not buy nano blocks in the future.
