Quintessential book for absurdists,
By
This review is from: Naomi in the Living Room and Other Short Plays: A Collection of One-Acts (Paperback)
The plays in this book are generally hillarious. If you can appreciate theatre and also appreciate absurdist comedy, you will love them.
I had never laughed out loud while reading a script before; I had to stop reading for a few minutes to calm down at several moments during this book

Absolutely necessary for all Forensics Coaches and teams,

This review is from: Naomi in the Living Room and Other Short Plays: A Collection of One-Acts (Paperback)
This book came at a season-saving moment for my Forensics play acting group. With a month until competition we had nothing. But then we rememmbered a performance of "Cancker Sores and othe Distractions" and this book was easy to find. With so many great one act plays, this offers a variety for all teams and different groups. A must have.

A Pandora's Box of Hilarity!,

There's something in this collection for everyone. The title play is a terrific satire of the post-modern family unit. The rest of the plays are funny as well. A worth-while one-act collection for any would-be actor/director to own, especially those who appreciate thearte of the absurd with a biting touch of realism.

I watched this play performed by the graduating students of a local college. The actress who did Naomi was OTT brilliant. If directed well, this short play has tremendous potential.

It is a very original and interesting play. With all the characters being quite complex. I enjoyed this, and it will be a pleasure, and experience and certaitnly a challenge to play the character of Naomi for my freshman drama class.
