Comfort Food
This is a wonderful cookbook. The recipes call for basic ingredients and are easy to make and taste delicious. I grew up eating food like this, reminded me of my childhood, hence "comfort food". The photos and Naomi's inspirations make you want to invite your family and friends over for dinner! This book would be a great Christmas present.

can see why it's out of print...
I really wanted to love this cookbook. It's been on my most wanted listed for years. Finally I caved and bought a used copy. The text is... contrived. There are small quotes and sayings throughout the book that are not Naomi's own. Which is part of the disappointment. It seems like she is trying to hard to appeal to Ms. Betty Homemaker. The recipes for fried chicken, coconut cake and macaroni and cheese are really good. Plus, the book is entertaining with anecdotes and stories from Naomi. The book really is a keeper.

Actually a very delightful recipe book, with lots of cute Southern tidbits of wisdom and the such. The photos are spectacular, especially of Wynonna. That's the only reason why I bought the book. Too bad it is out of print, a lot of people will miss out.

I received this book as a christmas gift and it is the only cookbook were I wanted to make all the recipes. It is more then a cookbook but a great read as well. I recommend it to any one and even give it as gifts.

I love this book! Down home country food. The recipes are easy to make, but full of flavor. These are recipes that your grandma would make, and hopefully will inspire you to bring your family back to the kitchen table.

A great book that you will not only enjoy cooking from but just reading. Naomi Judd opens her heart and photo album to make this much more than a cookbook. Five stars for Naomi Judd!

Naomi Judd has produced a wonderful book that reflects her views on food and family which is full of colour photographs. A must for any Judds fan.
