I have owned the NAOS 65 pack for many years and now decided to also get the smaller 45 version which is just excellent for 1-2 day treks as well as traveling. Arcteryx' NAOS series is legendary, probably the most decent packs ever made "in Canada". The pack itself is 100% waterproof (and I mean it...after some heavy downpours you really start to appreciate this fact) and very solid/durable. The only weakness I see is the "load disc" at the back of the pack...the one from my 65 broke after a couple of months but Arcteryx' customer service was just great and they replaced it within a few days. I just love this pack! What a pity that Arcteryx (like all the other once reputable outdoor companies such as The North Face, Mountain Hardware and what have you) now has most of its stuff manufactured in China which CERTAINLY brings down the quality but NOT the price!

The NAOS packs are one of the few items which are still produced in Canada so get yours before the last one is sold (all NAOS are discontinued expect the huge 85 model).
