4.0 out of 5 stars Happy Sleeper
I have had this eye mask for over 2 years. I can't live without it and travel with it. My husband had to get one after hearing me talk about how great it works. It is very comfortable to sleep with and blocks out all light. My only complaint it that you can't wash it. My husband's smells a little funny. Overall, great product. Worth every penny.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not for Stomach or Side Sleepers
This product is well made, but the design is flawed if you are a side or stomach sleeper. As another reviewer noted, the mask is overly plush over the eyes. The design is inteded to block out the light between your nose and cheekbone, and it does, but it comes at the expense of resting directly on your eyelids. As a mask for airplane travel, this would not be a problem...

This mask really really blocks out all light - if you open your eyes underneath it, you cannot tell at all if there is any light in the room.
It is very soft and comfortable to wear.
.
As to washing it - I put one in the washer and dryer once because like anything that touches your skin, after awhile it "lacks freshness," no matter how immaculate a person you are. It survived, but was a bit slack in its elasticness. But I won't hesitate to wash my new one gently by hand with a little Dawn, and dry it without using the dryer (wrap it in a towel for 24 hours, then hang it somewhere).

5.0 out of 5 stars Blocks 100% of all Light, Does NOT press on eyelids!, March 25, 2010
This review is from: NapForm Eye Mask with BioSense Memory Foam
I wanted this mask for a while. I've tried many masks, including Sleep Master.

In my previous review, I hated this sleep mask due to its bulkiness and the cost, mainly. BUT I DID love the fact that it COMPLETELY BLOCKS OUT ALL LIGHT and conforms to your face and nose PERFECTLY! (no other sleep mask shuts out 100% of all light)

THIS ONE DOES!

Soooo, I decided to give this mask another try due to that fact...and it did feel comfortable..it also does NOT press on your eyelids, so you can open and shut your eyes at will.

Well, NOW I LOVE this mask and it will be my favorite...I also can sleep on my side or stomach with it (it still is a little bulky, but over time, it will soften up,I'm sure).

If you want a SERIOUS sleep mask that completely blocks out all light AND does not sit on your lids and you like tempurpedic (it's only on the part that rests below your eyes) then this is the mask for you. Yes it is a bit pricey, but then again, it's muuuch cheaper than a dr appt and/or for a prescription!

Now I know what I'm getting friends and family for gifts! :)

1.0 out of 5 stars Not for Stomach or Side Sleepers, October 19, 2011

This product is well made, but the design is flawed if you are a side or stomach sleeper. As another reviewer noted, the mask is overly plush over the eyes. The design is inteded to block out the light between your nose and cheekbone, and it does, but it comes at the expense of resting directly on your eyelids. As a mask for airplane travel, this would not be a problem as you are resting with the back of your head on the chair. However, if you are using the product in a bedroom and sleep on your side or stomach, the plush material presses into your eyes, which is very uncomfortable and cause some eye irritation. For stomach or side sleepers, I would recommend a more traditional mask, such as the Brookstone Nap Plush Eyemask.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Sleep Mask I've tried in my 30 yrs. of trouble sleeping!, December 27, 2011
By

This review is from: NapForm Eye Mask with BioSense Memory Foam
I have tried every type of sleep-eye-mask there was accessible to me, I had just about given up... Then when searching for a neck pillow, I stumbled onto this, and I decided (after thoroughly reading reviews,) to give it one more go, and put on my wish list! I have Recieved it for Christmas, AND gave another as a gift. I used my NapForm Eye Mask w/Biosense Memory Foam that same day/night, taking it with me on our long drives to see family, and later to sleep at home. It was very comfortable, no elastic that stretches out or hurts ones ears, just a thin, flat, band with adjustable Velcro, the curved portion around the eyes is a great advancement! It was not unbreathable/sweaty like I suspected it might be because of other memory foam types-Big Relief! Blocked our ALL light, I got to get the right amount of sleep, even though the room was very sunny, just the way my significant other likes it upon waking.

My only negative comment is the whole item is not as big as in the photo illustration used. The one in photo looks wider all ways around, with more outward coverage, but both the gift I gave, and my own, were more narrow.

A bit disappointing, but it still wins so far in this category of eye masks to have a good night's sleep in.

1.0 out of 5 stars A WORD OF WARNING, September 27, 2011

It has two lumps of material that push into your eyeballs. No matter how loose you make it, it still puts pressure on them. It doesn't allow you to blink, either. During Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep, I see this as a problem. I couldn't stand to have this thing on for more than a few seconds. I don't know why anyone would like this item. At least now you've been warned. I'm going to try Bucky 40 Blinks Mask

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sleep mask, August 28, 2011
This review is from: NapForm Eye Mask with BioSense Memory Foam
This is a great sleep mask! It is very soft and comfortable both face up and sideways. One really can comfortably open ones eyes with it on. It truly does block out all light and stays in place while you shift positions, but one does need to wear it tightly enough. It does not become uncomfortable when tight (in my case it only puts a little bit of pressure on the sides of my nose depending on how I'm wearing it) but since I'm not too sensitive to light I prefer wearing it somewhat loose even if a tiny bit of light may leak in that way. The elastic allows one to slip the mask on and off without having to unfasten and refasten the velcro. This may be pricier than other sleep masks but well worth the money if you're looking for something good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great find, July 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: NapForm Eye Mask with BioSense Memory Foam
I require a mask to sleep at night. If there is any light at all, I can't sleep. This mask exceeds expectations. I have gone through many masks, but this one has been the best at block light. The head band is much better at holding the mask on at night compared to previous purchases. The contact surface is very soft and very comfortable to wear.

LOVE this sleep mask!!! I use it a lot on airplanes. It's great for overnight flights. It completely blocks out all light and it is really soft and comfortable. It's like a pillow for your eyes! Even though it's a little pricey, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.
