Fits 2004 Subaru WRX Wagon great, but also good as stand-alone., July 5, 2010
This review is from: Sportz Dome-To-Go (Misc.)
I should preface this by mentioning that we have no actually camped in this yet, but I was shocked to see that there were no other reviews. I will try to remember to post an update after our first camping trip. (Update posted as a comment, below, and I changed my rating from 5 stars to 3 unfortunately.)
This tent is very roomy and the quality of materials appears to be very good. It would be a great stand-alone tent; it fully seals up with or without a car hooked up.
We set it up in our yard first to see how it would all go together -- I was nervous about wasting the first 1/2 day of our camping trip figuring it out. I had nothing to worry about. The tent went right up like a normal modern dome-type tent. Then I backed my WRX 3 feet away and moved the tent toward the rear of the car, popped over the top elasticized cover, hooked it onto my factory roof-racks and made a few connection to tether the bottom piece to the inside of the car and...that was it! The rain fly went on easily as well. This thing came together faster than my 3-man EMS tent of similar construction.
There are two entries (on adjacent, not opposite, sides), which is nice because some campgrounds have odd-shaped lots and having two doors give you options. Both doors have mesh, plus there is a mesh window. And if you're not using a car you have a fourth mesh window as well! All doors and windows have full covers of course, in case it gets cold, windy, or rainy.
We have a 10-month old and one on the way, and this thing will save us lugging stuff between tent and car as baby needs arise. The rear of the car will serve as a nice changing station. Plus, as the kids get older, this tent can kind of grow with us, whether we still have a hatchback or not!
Packed up, the tent takes up less room than a "pack-and-play". It rolls up nicely and you don't even need the carrying case, but including it was a nice touch.

Needs help out of the box, Great once attended to., January 9, 2011
This review is from: Sportz Dome-To-Go (Misc.)
You CANNOT use this tent out of the box.
The nylon is not rainproof (or even dew proof.) The seams are not sealed.
The zippers are not heavy duty... be gentle with them.
You MUST DIY with sealers and waterproof sprays. For 3 tubes of seam sealer from Walmart and 3 cans of fabric water proofing spray from a camping store we spent about $40.
~~STILL a good deal for the price~~ even with the extra cost, time input and preparation.
Fits my Honda Element perfectly, was a wonderful addition to our NY to CO roadtrip and various weekend music festivals where is poured cats & dogs the whole weekend, we stayed dry. You'll have to maintain the water-proofing (as with any tent) every few years.
