Jeffrey Kennedy has thoroughly enjoyed living in Europe for the last quarter of a century and has been lucky enough to author and co-author a plethora of travel guides and articles for major international publishers.

His chosen destinations have included Rome, Naples and many other regions of Italy; San Francisco and Miami and other parts of Florida in his native US; Mallorca, Andalusia and Barcelona in Spain; and parts of Greece and France.

He has also written a semi-historical novel, coming soon - an esoteric thriller entitled "Pan's Dominion", set on his beloved island of Capri and in Rome, his Eternal City.

Beautiful illustrations and photographs, but no ditections. Little attempt to filter out the superflous and time wasting details that can bog down a vacation with limited time. Had to book mark the index page, the area descriptions and the map section and flip back and forth trying to locate the points of interest. If you have six months to live there or just want some pretty pictures it would be great, otherwise don't waste your time or money on the book.

Just got back from Naples and found this to be a very handy guidebook. The maps were useful too. Plenty of information to get you to the highlights.

Terrific - easy to use and so much information!!! And it is compact and light.
