Poor printing quality,

This review is from: Napoleon: A History of the Art of War. Volume 1: From the beginning of the French Revolution to the end of the eighteenth century, with a detailed account of the wars of the French Revolution (Paperback)
This is not a review of the text, only a review of the printing. A number of the images, most notably portraits, appear as grey/black blocks on the pages in my copy of the book. Some are faintly distinguishable, others are simply black squares. Thankfully the maps appear to be correct and are printed as they appear in Dodge's other books.
