Contains information not easily found in other references. Contains US forces information as an ad hoc ally of France. My only gripe is that the illustrations of soldiers are not in color, only black and white. The volume "Wellington's War Machine" (British Army) had colored illustrations of the soldiers; this one does not. Perhaps it is my US published 1988 version, but I suspect not since special color inserted sections exist.
