Those who expected to see this beautiful limited edition of the newest NA basic text obviously hoped it would match the photo. The text shown is a SPECIAL EDITION and will go on sale after APRIL 1, 2009. There are only a limited number and they are a special edition to celebrate the anniversary of the text.

The information in this book is the same as the new sixth edition of the text. Hope you folks cracked the spine before giving up on this life-saving book.

This book offers practical help for anyone struggling with drug use problems. It does not go into the physiological causes of addiction but other books do a good job of reporting on such medical research. Instead it offers practical day to day help as well an introduction to the Narcotics Anonymous 12-Step program. There are a number of stories that tell of ordinary people who found this program to be a lifesaver.

Wonderful daily book for recovering addicts. If you haven't listened to anybody in the past, you will read what they were trying to tell you to help you on the road to recovery. I would also suggest a follow up to compliment this book for additional reading, "Just For Today", it has daily devotions in it and page numbers that will refer you to the section in the big blue book to expand your reading. A good reference book for Psychology/Sociology majors and anyone who plans on running a counseling group.
