4.0 out of 5 stars Naruto Clash of Ninja
My sons and I really enjoyed the Gamecube Naruto game that came out before this one, and waited impatiently for this one to come out. After having it for a while, I can tell you that the game play is fairly similiar to the gamecube version, which is a good thing. There are some new Jutsus for the characters, and of the 20 characters available, about half are new. Tsunade,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent multiplayer fighter for the Wii
The interest in playtime will vary from person to person. I personally bought it because at the time it was only $10, and I needed games for my wii. I didn't play it too much. I tried the story mode out. They use Dialogue with voice over instead of cutscene animation, but I don't find that problematic. I came to a wall in the story though when I had an objective where...

Tsunade, Jiraiya, Kisame, Itachi, Tenten are some of the new characters that spring to mind. You don't get the characters by earning money like in the previous game, but by beating different modes of the game with different characters.

The other innovation of the game, that you can "knock" the other players all the way into a new game screen is kinda cool, but doesnt really have that much affect on the game or the way you play. We found that the Wii controllers were a little tough to get used to for doing combo moves, but since they designed this game to play with Gamecube controllers as well we have just been using those instead.

Very cool game...would have like a few more characters and innovations in gameplay, but its a solid game as it is that we should play for a long time (or until they come out with a Naruto Shippuden version)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun for Naruto fans and those that enjoy multiplayer, June 25, 2008

It's great fun being able to play as characters from the Naruto series and this is a very solid game with no glitches that I have come across.

While this game doesn't have a ton of depth (I wish there were more playable characters in particular), I have a great time playing this with my 6 year old son and sometimes we even play as a family with my wife and 3 year old daughter as well.

If you're a fan of the Naruto series, have a Nintendo Wii, and have people you enjoy playing with, you will almost certainly enjoy this game.

I would have given this game a 4.5 based on the game alone, but rounded up to a 5 because of the added fun of being able to play with characters from a show my family really enjoys.

This is the first Naruto game to play and I was pleased with what I got. The gameplay was excellent, sound and graphics were okay. Too bad they didn't have more characters, but it was so much fun playing and unlocking charcters and missions. This is a must have for any Naruto Fan.

Fun game. A lot of good challenges. Each person has there own special attacks & defenses. Good multiplayer game. A game that works for the Wii. The training mode shows button pushes for the classic controller and would be better if it also showed the wii remote. I suggest using the training mode to play with the buttons on the wii remote & numchuck. Wish the game book had a better guide seems to been designed for the game cube. But overall the game is a lot of fun.

I tried the story mode out. They use Dialogue with voice over instead of cutscene animation, but I don't find that problematic. I came to a wall in the story though when I had an objective where they told me to perform a move I didn't know what was. I had bought this game used also, so there was no booklet. I could've looked it up, but it wasn't that serious. I just stopped playing. Most people, it won't interest too much if you're not a fan of the anime, but its a great kids game. No blood, lots of action.

It's a very great game that can keep your son distracted for a good month and a half.Longer if he attempts to complete the harder difficulties, this game is filled with naruto characters that can unlock others. If you watch the show it can be relatively easy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Na-ru-TO!, May 22, 2011

This game was a lot of fun. Although it is easy to pickup and play, it takes a lot of mastery to be able to fight the AI on the most difficult settings. Co-op play is a blast and again, you will need to learn your character's combos, and their special moves in order to keep up.

After a while, the game gets old because most matches turn into a "replacement jutsu" contest where it all depends onusing the move to escape your opponents' combos.

It gets frustrating on high AI levels because you know that you will NEVER get a combo in, the AI will always break your attacks using the teleportation attack.

I wouldn't recommend, you can get all of the characters in less than hour. Plus, all you need to do to win a match is press up and the strong attack. Do not buy.

Bought this game for my grandson... the Naruto expert. It was a toss up between Revolution and Revolution 2. Hank didn't have Revolution so he and I decided to go with the older lower priced game. He loves the game. Glad to please my 10 year old buddy.
