3.0 out of 5 stars doesnt suck, but it doesnt rock either
sad story short, this CD is entirely in japanese. i'm a filthy american and i cant do jack squat with it (i own a PC and it didnt work in my stereo either). so unless you're a computer hacking genius and you know how to work this stuff out, buy it. but if you thought you could just pop it in your computer and import it into itunes, you might want to reconsider.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome but Costly, December 26, 2004
This review is from: Naruto: Original Soundtrack V.2 (Audio CD)
The Second Naruto official soundtrack includes a variety of songs from the hit anime that is currently being shown in Japan and Fansubbed in the US by quite a few groups. The manga is also liscensed and distributed by Viz.

Although only two soundtracks are out thus far, more are expected. Many fans who do not have or do not wish to acquire the Opening and Ending singles wish that more of such themes will occur in the third soundtrack.

As it is now, one opening and ending will debut on each soundtrack. Ie. 1st has Rocks/Wind, seconds has Haruka Kanata/Harmunia, etc.

This track is completely instrumental featuring the flute as the main instrument (And used beautifully I might add) except for the first and last tracks.

Although I adore all of the music of Naruto, I would not purchase it for fifty dollars. It is also a shame that Amazon simply puts "Japanese Title" instead of translating it as the various groups on the internet do.

The complete track listing includes:
Track # Song Name
Track 01 Haruka Kanata
Track 02 Daylight of Konoha
Track 03 Confrontment
Track 04 Evil
Track 05 Sasuke's Theme
Track 06 Survival Examination
Track 07 Afternoon of Konoha
Track 08 Fooling Mode
Track 09 Konohamaru's Theme
Track 10 It's The Training!
Track 11 Gai's Theme
Track 12 Hinata vs Neji
Track 13 Orochimaru's Theme
Track 14 Avenger
Track 15 Orochimaru Fight
Track 16 Raikiri
Track 17 Sasuke's Destiny
Track 18 Alone
Track 19 Harmonia

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Naruto Soundtrack!, August 7, 2008
This review is from: Naruto: Original Soundtrack V.2 (Audio CD)
Naruto Original Soundtrack Volume II is yet another genius addition to the Naruto Soundtrack collection! This album contains 19 tracks all of which are instrumental except for the first and last tracks.

The 2 vocal tracks are Haruka Kantana and Harmonia. Both are 5-star songs and worth the price of the album on their own. Haruka Kantana is probably one of the best know openings for the Naruto anime. It is a fast-paced Japanese pop song that really gets you in the mood for some high-impact ninja battling! Harmonia was a song used on the 2nd season ending of Naruto in Japan. As far as I know - it was not used in the US version. If you have seen the Japanese version of the anime then I am sure you remember the ending with chibi Sakura and Ino singing and swaying to this sweet tune as they dreamed of Sasuke and the other Leaf Ninja.

Of the instramental tracks - here are the few that stand out as brilliant on this CD:

- Hinata vs. Neji
- Orochimaru's Theme
- Orochimaru's Fight
- Alone

Overall, this is a great soundtrack and a wonderful addition to any Naruto or anime collection.
