About the Author

Author/artist Masashi Kishimoto was born in 1974 in rural Okayama Prefecture, Japan. After spending time in art college, he won the Hop Step Award for new manga artists with his manga Karakuri (Mechanism). Kishimoto decided to base his next story on traditional Japanese culture. His first version of Naruto, drawn in 1997, was a one-shot story about fox spirits; his final version, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, quickly became the most popular ninja manga in Japan.

This is an amazing manga book! Finally the ten tailed beast shows itself! Of course Masashi Kishimoto's art is amazing too! He draws so realistic and dramatic.

The reason why it gets 5 stars is because you really can feel the characters. Even though their just drawings and text, you can feel the emotion. All feelings are mixed. You can almost feel that the end of Naruto draws close. Which is very sad to think about, but what a way to top it of. This shinobi war gets more and more exiting for every page!

Can't wait till volume 65 where Sasuke joins the battle!

I bought this for my grandson. He has a reading disability so hates to read. His counselors recommended graphic novels as a strategy to lure him to read. He enjoys the Naruto series so I bought him this to catch up his collection.

The suspense in this volume was entirely there! Although I'm sad that something happens to one of my favorite characters, i cant wait until the next chapter where we learn about the mystery of Hashirama and Madara and hopefully we see Sasuke's decision! ;)

This is a action packed volume. As the title say Ten Tails emerges and wipes the floor with the allied forces. The try to attack Obito and Madara, but end up getting humiliated. A few characters are killed and Naruto "spreads the wealth" he has among the shinobi alliance. Just a heads up the next volume will explain to us the relationship between Madara and Hashirama so don't expect anything related to the fight with the Ten-Tails.
