5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Manga I've Ever Read, October 11, 2005

This review is from: Naruto, Vol. 7: Orochimaru's Curse (Paperback)
Naruto is becoming a known manga/anime around the world very fast. And I've been watching the anime for a long while...
Then I decided to read the manga as well. It's soo good! When you keep reading you can actually see the mangaka(the artist) developing his skills.

Every Naruto fan should read the mangas as well! They are very high quality and so fun to read!
No chapter is the same, always something new happens, you never feel like "yeah i've read the same storyline two chapters ago!!". Always a different challenge is thrown at our hero Naruto and his friends.
It's not soo serious so you don't get bored, but it's not always funny that you find it cheezy. The drama, comedy and the action are very nicely balanced.

A must read for all anime/manga fans!

My only complain would be the official English translation has changed the special names for the jutsu (ninja magic) and used completely different names...
Other than that, it's the best manga I've ever read.

PS: the manga is still continueing, and its somewhere near "chapter 279", so it is going to be a lot of volumes!

If you are a manga fan or just like graphic novels this is the book for you. It has all the goods funny, exiting, adventerous,Interesting and overall it's the best. I've read books 1-7 and they are all good they really pull you in and once I start reading I really get caught. I sometomes read two of thoes in one day if I have alot of spare time on my hands expecally during weekends. I reccomed ages 7-whatever because it does have some violence. It is about a boy named Naruto and his dream is to be the top ninga in his village (hogage) and his advetures.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Darkness Within Sasuke, April 2, 2009
By
This review is from: Naruto, Vol. 7: Orochimaru's Curse (Paperback)
The action continues as we get to see abilities of Naruto's peers, discover the darkness that lives within Sasuke, and the care and love within Sakura. Hang on tight, we're about to enter into the final rounds!

SUMMARY:
Choji, Shikamaru, and Ino do battle with ninja from the Village of the Sound in order to protect an unconscious Naruto and Sasuke and an injured Sakura. Their intentions are noble but their power is lacking and neither seems to gain the advantage. Sasuke awakens to find Sakura injured; enraged, he launches an attack on the Sound ninjas who harmed her. With his newfound powers given by Orochimaru's cursed seal the Sound ninjas stand no chance and Sasuke, drunk with power and rage, violently breaks both arms of one of the Sound members. Everyone is shocked and the Sound ninjas retreat as everyone contemplates the implications of this turn of events.

Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura take three days to recover from their injuries and make their way to the forest's center on the final day in a desperate attempt to collect the final scroll to advance to the next round. They are captured in an illusion by another group also seeking a scroll, but are soundly defeated. They make their way to the center and advance their way to the next round.

This review is from: Naruto, Vol. 7: Orochimaru's Curse (Paperback)
If you've got nothing to do but look for another graphic novel this is another greatest and best book to read its got it all. It has comedy, action, and tons of fun. This book will also have you hanging by a thread wondering whats happening. And this book is also commin' out onto a tv show. this book will also leave you at the edge of your seat... the character Sasuke gets his mind tangled and is cursed... but I mustn't say anymore cuz there is a whole lot of fans...
