NasalCrom is by far the best medicine for allergy relief ever. It has several great features including being non-drowsy, non-addictive and effective upon first use (unlike prescription hormone sprays that take several days use before kicking in). However, I think the best feature, and what makes it so versatile for the allergy sufferer, is that its mode of action is on part of the allergic pathway that none of the other medications affect. Therefore you can use it with a decongestant and/or nasal topical hormone spray and not get any cross medication effects. Most allergy sufferers have multiple and variable symptoms and NasalCrom gives you the flexibility you need to treat your symptoms based on what kind of day you're having. NasalCrom rocks!

After my five year old started suffering really bad allergies this spring I used children's Zyrtec. It worked but made my son feel "weird" and he didn't like it. So I tried Clariton but it did nothing. So I search for something that didn't have side effects and found this. I was drawn to it by the good reviews I found all over the web. Well after 2 days of use my son is allergy free! I can't believe it and I'm so happy! I'm thinking about switching myself from my Rx steroid spray.
It's such a happy moment when you find something that works and it safe.
If you suffer or know someone that does, please try this product. It rocks!

NasalCrom works great for me, but be careful which size you order. All the boxes look the same, but some are the full size .88oz while others are only .44oz!!!

A friend told me about Nasalcrom after hearing about how awful my allergies (which I had not experienced in decades!) had flared up BIGTIME. When we moved to the country a month ago I started having HORRIBLE watery, itchy eyes. And my NOSE!...it was both runny and stuffy. I felt like I wanted to claw my sinus's out from my face. I couldn't function because I had to take Benadryl and it made me sleepy and made my heart "skip beats". Natural treatments weren't cutting it.

Nasalcrom has been amazing. It says it will work within 1-2 weeks but I noticed relief in the first few applications of day one. I used it about 4-6 times for the first several days (only had to take a half a Benadryl on two occasions). I use it 3 times a day and have had NO More Allergies...Yippeeeeeeeeeee!

This is a great product . I have been using it for years for alargies etc. . But becaues it it a little more expensive All the store near me do not carry it and can not special oder it for me. I was delighted to find it again.

I started using Nasal Crom three years ago. I have not had even one cold or one sinus flare-up since beginning Nasal Crom.
Although you can use it up to 3 or 4 times a day, I use it just once every day. I recommend it to everyone who wants to quit suffering from colds and allergies. IT REALLY WORKS!

Nasalcrom works differently from antihistamines. Nasalcrom strengthens the mast cell walls and PREVENTS them from bursting and releasing histamines in the first place. Antihistamines wait for the allergy to happen, then fight the body's REACTION to the histamines. I'd much rather prevent the problem to begin with!
Nasalcrom helps a lot with my nasal allergies, and even more so for my itchy eyes. I used to use Opticrom for the eyes (same active ingredient as Nasalcrom--just a different preservative). When Opticrom went off the market for a few years (and I was losing my MIND with itchy eyes) my pharmacist told me it was safe to use nasalcrom in my eyes, and I've been using it ever since (perhaps 15 years now). I never switched back to Opticrom for my eyes because the Nasalcrom preservative doesn't sting my eyes as much, and Nasalcrom is over the counter.
When you're first starting with Nasalcrom, you have to use it several times a day. Once you get the allergies under control, once or twice a day may be enough to keep you on track.

I have tried a different brand called cromolyn which I can't find anymore, but this is the same stuff I think, just different brand and so relieved and so glad to find it. I am mad that I went through four years of steroids and antibiotics when I just needed this product.

I don't suffer from season-long allergies that would require regular use, but I occasionally get a sudden bout of postnasal drip, which can lead to a tickle in my throat followed by coughing that I can't stop. A dose of NasalCrom stops the symptoms quickly. I got scared off of sinus sprays that warn you not to use more than three days, but this product seems pretty safe AND effective.

Just have to be honest here...I suffer from nasal congestion, and I've tried this for 4-6 weeks. Didn't work for me. I really wish it did, though.
