I've recently been researching the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railroad for a design project I'm working on. Of the several "stand out" books I've found on the subject what is the most impressive is the amount of affection displayed by the authors---as if recalling a departed member of the family. In addition to that, the good Mr. Prince knows what he's talking about. Even if you know nothing about the N.C.& StL Railroad, you'll enjoy this book as a good read. If you do know about the N.C.& StL, then this is a "must have" addition to your library.
