I also like Alkalol, but it is now way too expensive, and difficult to find.

I find that the NasoGel Water Soluble Saline Nasal Gel spray does a great job and keep my nasal passage moist longer than just plain saline spray.

I bought this to help me with dry nose, after a couple of uses I started to feel completely stuffed up and had lots of discharge.

I've used my share of nasal saline sprays out there, and I must say that this stuff is the best! I'm a vocalist who struggles with allergies, a killer for my hobby. Things like a neti pot and a humidifier do wonders to help me, but when traveling or during the winter when heaters constantly keep me dried out, I need a little extra boost.

It's especially been a life saver this winter when I discovered my humidifier causes more sniffles than it cures thanks to the bacteria in the water, and I'm short on funds to buy an effective warm mist humidifier. I'd still take a warm mist humidifier over this product any day, but I'd still find some use of this spray during winter.

First of all, I wouldn't use this product, or any saline spray out there, for the cure of any chronic sinus issues be it dry sinuses or allergies. I would use daily nasal irrigation for that, which NeilMed makes a couple of wonderful products for. Also, investing in a good warm mist humidifier should help with this. My cool mist humidifier that was making me sick more often than not did at least help me with sinus problems, but of course created a multitude of other issues. However, that's neither here or now.

This spray is not 100% drip free, but that doesn't matter much to me. I'd actually be very concerned if it was too viscous to travel easily through my sinuses as it's more of a stream than a spray, but so is any other nasal spray I've used. It's loose enough to get around in my sinus passages, but has enough gel to keep a good amount of the saline in.

My daughters were getting multiple nosebleeds a day when a schoolyard mom mentioned this item to me. It works incredibly well, but is sometimes difficult to find in the pharmacy so I just order it on amazon now.

I travel frequently and get dry nose on planes and in heated buildings. This is the SINGLE BEST product I have ever used. It gives the longest lasting (and most effective) relief.

also, it's not habit forming. Just handy!

Far superior to saline nasal spray. Longer lasting. Assists in keeping nasal passages open most of the night. I can sleep better.

Standing in the allergy aisle at the drugstore, this sounded like a great product. Why buy a tube of nasal gel when I can skip the mess, Q-Tips, and manual application? Something that would spritz my nose with saline gel, much like a saline spray does, sounded perfect.

The NasoGel "spray" doesn't do that. NasoJet would be a more accurate name, as I quickly discovered while priming my bottle. Three pumps later, it shot a wad of saline gel four feet in the air, where it hit my bathroom ceiling and moisturized the paint. It's not quite that aggressive in your nasal cavity, but it's still a jet of gel glob being propelled at one point in your nose. So once your propel some up there, yes, that part of your nose feels delightfully moisturized and functional.

The rest of your nose, not so much. The rest of your nose actually feels worse in comparison. And as other reviewers have mentioned, it's not exactly drip-free; in the course of applying the proscribed 2-4 sprays per nostril, I usually get at least a little running (or flying) back out of a nostril.

Instead of this one, get the regular, tube-form NasoGel. You can easily apply it to your entire nose using a cotton swab (which you'll end up doing with the spray anyway), and it's cheaper than the sprayer. You probably even already have Q-Tips in your cupboard, so it's even better of a deal.

I suffer from year round allergies and use a CPAP machine, understandably I suffer with chronic sinus issues related to dryness, I use a netipot to rinse (also from nielmed) and a humidifier at night. I have tried other saline sprays to keeps my sinuses moist but none have the staying power of this product. If you have a dry nose this will help, unlike other products that are a runny liquid spray this is a gel that actually stays where you spray it.

Hope this helps!

This is, by far, the best product I've found for issues relating to a dry nose. Other saline spray dry quickly and actually make the problem worse. This gel spray provides relief for an extended amount of time. Additionally, after using this gel, I no longer have a bloody nose at night. Can't recommend it highly enough.

My C-PAP has been drying my nose out for years. On the doctors recommendation, I tried it and the problem was solved.
