Book Description

September 30, 2005
Life-long friends, Nate & Moe, are certified players! Both have used their jobs in the entertainment industry to their advantage with the women they meet.

Moe is a well-known radio DJ in New York, while Nate is doing his damage with a pen as a magazine writer in Baltimore.

When Nate loses his job in B-more and moves back to New York to freelance for one of the hottest urban magazines, a controversial article he writes about star music artists that are using drugs could lead to his permanent down-fall.

Moe warns Nate about releasing the article, but Nate’s regaining of success has him feelin’ himself too much – Now he’s making big-cash and begins feeling like he’s untouchable! Playing women may only get him slapped, but playing with the industry’s hottest hardcore rappers that have millions to lose from the article could get Nate ‘slumped’!

Kaneecha (Moe’s girl), is a sexy-diva clothing model and nympho without a conscience. Kaneecha’s always gotta have it, whenever, where-ever! But a horny-night decision may come back to haunt her.

Tierra is a blunt-smoking, hood drama queen from Queens, NY. Though she’s known Nate for a long time, it wasn’t until he resurfaced in New York years later that she recognized that she wants a piece of that! Later, she views Nate as the answer for her baby-daddy drama.

Janettea (Nate’s ‘main-girl’) is an independent sophisticated-dime that’s doing her own thing with interior designing, but can also cop an attitude with a quickness! And, she ain’t above giving a beat-down to a hoochie she thinks is sexin’ Nate.

All the dirt Nate’s doing begins to catch-up with him. Having twice narrowly escaped the hardcore rapper’s crew of henchmen seeking revenge against him – he might not be so lucky the next time! Doing the ultimate dirt to his boy Moe, has serious consequences of its own! And, his player-ways gets him played!

It’s just the price you pay for being NASTY!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Pearl Is Counterfeit, August 17, 2006

Thank you to all the readers who have purchased Nasty
which was originally titled as Selfish Intention.
Due to conflict of interest within my company
I'd appreciate it if you no longer support my
book or any other under my company's name.
The material they release, and i quote "The
subject matter we publish is for the ghetto."
Therefore their books are aimed towards those
who have a poverty mentality. If you continue
to purchase books under their company name
you will only be supporting the negative
views FB&WC think of their buyers and readers.

4.0 out of 5 stars "Nasty" is all about "Personality" ---A must read!!!, July 9, 2006
This review is from: Nasty (Paperback)
Two players Nate & Moe. Both with glamorous jobs that allowed them to socialize with the stars and manipulate women. They have been friends almost a life time. But some friend Nate turned out to be, with the way he continually stab Moe in the back not even thinking about the repercussions.

Nate had a tendency to hurt everyone who cared for him, including himself when he went against the advice of a hirer-up not to post a certain article in the magazine "Nasty." That article was already creating face-to-face conflicts with notorious gangster rappers, even Moe warned him about releasing the article, but Nate felt the public needed to know and he was not going to let anyone tell him what he could and could not write about apparently.

Thanks to his hard-head he lost his job, apartment, car, and his dignity as he moved in with his girlfriend, and drove her car, invited females over and had sex inside her house. He had no preference. He also slept with and smoke with one of the scantiest females (Tierra, a blunt-smoking, hood-rat with more baby-daddy-drama than a little bit. Not only was he running from notorious rappers, he was running from Tierra's rasta-forgein baby-daddy. But running into Tierra bestfriend was equally dangerously trifling as well.

Nasty was the perfect title for this book. And because Nate was so nasty to everyone around, his character was easily un-likeable. No I did not feel sorry for Nate, he got just what he deserved. However, (it was Janettea that my heart went out to). We sisters try so hard to hold up brothers that won't hold themselves. (When do we accept the signs and move on?) Nasty has a little bit for all readers, and surprisingly it had some great insight on spirituality that all men need to know about. I highly recommend that you men out there pick this book up and read it, and take heed to its warnings.

This is another must read suggested to me by a friend in Texas(author Kerry e. Wagner- SHE DID THAT) and again i was not disappointed. The talent ehibited by Rashaan is indeniably a force to be reckon with. Outstanding story!
