The Pearl Is Counterfeit,
This review is from: Nasty (Paperback)
Thank you to all the readers who have purchased Nasty
which was originally titled as Selfish Intention. Due to conflict of interest within my company I'd appreciate it if you no longer support my book or any other under my company's name. The material they release, and i quote "The subject matter we publish is for the ghetto." Therefore their books are aimed towards those who have a poverty mentality. If you continue to purchase books under their company name you will only be supporting the negative views FB&WC think of their buyers and readers.

"Nasty" is all about "Personality" ---A must read!!!,

This review is from: Nasty (Paperback)
Two players Nate & Moe. Both with glamorous jobs that allowed them to socialize with the stars and manipulate women. They have been friends almost a life time. But some friend Nate turned out to be, with the way he continually stab Moe in the back not even thinking about the repercussions.
Nate had a tendency to hurt everyone who cared for him, including himself when he went against the advice of a hirer-up not to post a certain article in the magazine "Nasty." That article was already creating face-to-face conflicts with notorious gangster rappers, even Moe warned him about releasing the article, but Nate felt the public needed to know and he was not going to let anyone tell him what he could and could not write about apparently. Thanks to his hard-head he lost his job, apartment, car, and his dignity as he moved in with his girlfriend, and drove her car, invited females over and had sex inside her house. He had no preference. He also slept with and smoke with one of the scantiest females (Tierra, a blunt-smoking, hood-rat with more baby-daddy-drama than a little bit. Not only was he running from notorious rappers, he was running from Tierra's rasta-forgein baby-daddy. But running into Tierra bestfriend was equally dangerously trifling as well. Nasty was the perfect title for this book. And because Nate was so nasty to everyone around, his character was easily un-likeable. No I did not feel sorry for Nate, he got just what he deserved. However, (it was Janettea that my heart went out to). We sisters try so hard to hold up brothers that won't hold themselves. (When do we accept the signs and move on?) Nasty has a little bit for all readers, and surprisingly it had some great insight on spirituality that all men need to know about. I highly recommend that you men out there pick this book up and read it, and take heed to its warnings.

Nasty is the story of Nate and Moe. They are life-long friends who are both "playas". After Nate loses his job in Baltimore, he moves to New York to write for one of the hottest urban magazines while Moe is a popular, well-known DJ. Nate decides to write an article about drug use in the music industry, even though Moe and others try to warn him about the consquences of his actions, but of course, Nate is thinking about the money and the prestige and refuses to listen. His refusal sets off a chain of events that may cost him his career and his life, not to mention that his "playa" ways are about to catch up to him and cause him to lose the love of his life, Janettea. Meanwhile, Moe is in love with his girlfriend Kaneecha and after learning more about the Muslim lifestyle and deciding to change his ways, decides to settle down, however, little does he know that Nate and Kaneecha have committed the ultimate betrayal. Nasty has all of the elements for a great story: Friendship, Romance, Drama, Betrayal and Self-Redemption. I give this book 4 stars!!! Reviewed by Shay C of PeoplewholoveGoodBooks

Nasty is a book about Nate who has surrounded himself with good friends and family. The only problem is Nate can't be good to them. He seems to hurt those who cares about him. Moe is Nate's bestfriend who will give Nate the shirt off his back, and what does Nate do to him, sleeps with his Fiance, Janettea is Nates girlfriend and he cheats on her not only with Kaneecha(Moe's Girl) but Tierra. In the end Nate is left to see what happens when you hurt all those that cared about you.
I can't say that I found this book to be all that, first there were way to many characters I found myself lost to who was who. And there really wasn't that much action. I thought that there would be more after Nate wrote this article for this magazine about the music artists that are using drugs, but nothing really happens, for me I like a lot more street action and I didn't get that with this book. RATING 31/2

I can't believe I read this book in less than 24hrs...I'm still in shock over that. I want to believe that Nate got what he deserved, but his destiny was still so heart wrenching. I loved every minute of this book, and though it's fictional, the story felt so real...Love, Drama, Heartbreak, Heartache...all tied into fifty four chapters. Rahsaan you did great with this book....definitely a penny well spent!!!!!!!!!!

The perfect title for the perfect story. Every substance needed for a best selling novel can be found in Nasty. Rahsaan meticulously provided a strong storyline that is filled with drama, finding love, and the heartache that comes with losing love. Eventhough a fiction read, I was pulled into this story of two friends and the compromising positions they found themselves in. Nasty threw my imagination into overdrive to say the least. This is most defintely a novel you can read over, and over, and over again. Do not sleep on this one. I promise you you won't be disappointed.
Great Job Rahsaan!
