3.0 out of 5 stars Suffers from a few problems, November 21, 2009

The game is a hidden object type with a mini game in each level. Most are ok, ranging from very easy to very time consuming. There is a hint system for the main tasks and the mini games can be skipped after a short period of time. The game is much shorter than I expected from a "full" price($6.99)purchase, about 4 hours.

The developers would have been well advised to run the script through a spell checker before publishing. There are glaring typos (i.e. fore for fire).

The music is mediocre and gets irritating after a few minutes. The graphics are nice, with well done comic book style art between the levels for telling the story.

I would not buy a sequel unless the game were much more polished.

This is a puzzle game where you follow along with a story (done in cartoon fashion) and find objects, put together contraptions, and solve various puzzles that are not too difficult. It's an interesting concept in puzzle games, but I noticed a lot of problems with text that ran off "pages" and wrote over itself. And sometimes the wrong words were used (like "your grandpa" when she meant "my grandpa".) Also, the music (which I thought was okay) stopped toward the end of the game along with most sound effects. The entire game took me only 3 hours to finish. It's an amusing little diversion, but I recommend not paying more than $5 for it.
