4.0 out of 5 stars Cute Light-Read!, June 29, 2006
By
This review is from: Natalie's Secret #1 (Camp Confidential) (Paperback)
I bought this book a while back when I was horribly sick and really in the mood for a cute little book that would make me smile. And yes, I did get just what I wanted.

Natalie cringes at the thought of going to camp this summer- she wants to board the next plane home and forget this even happened. And when she gets there, for a while, she's even more dismayed at the thought of actually staying at the camp for very long. She wants her friends and her air-conditioned house. But when she actually lets herself have fun and warm up to her cabin-mates, she finds that camp is probably the most fun she's ever had. She meets some great girls and their friendships are just what she needs to get through her camp experience. Natalie discovers herself along the way, and in the end, doesn't want to leave.

This book was a real page-turner, although I can't say I was ready to pounce on the sequel. I enjoyed it though, and would recommend it to anyone in the mood for a cute book that will make you smile and maybe even laugh out loud.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Greatest Book, June 20, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Natalie's Secret #1 (Camp Confidential) (Paperback)
Natalie goes to camp thinking that nothing could be worse than Camp Lake-Puke. The floor has splinters, there was spiders on the toilet seat, and the food was horrible. That was nothing that could prepare Natalie for what was in her footsteps. Her dad, Tad Maxwell one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood, shows up at her camp. Things started changing, people started acting weird around her and some even acted as if they were best buds for centuries. Will things ever go back to normal at Camp Lake-Puke, or will Natalie Goode's life be miserable for the rest of the summer?

5.0 out of 5 stars How bad could it be?, April 14, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Natalie's Secret #1 (Camp Confidential) (Paperback)
Natalie Goode is not at all thrilled when her mother makes her go to Camp Lakeview. She would rather eat sushi and hang out with her friends then go to camp. When Natalie gets to camp it is nothing like she expected. It didn't look at all like the Ski Lodge she had been to. Natalie has to face things she hates like spiders on the toliet seat, moldy shower curtains, and an annoying girl named Chelsea. When everyone starts talking about their families, dads mainly, Natalie starts acting differently. Will her secrect about her dad spill?

5.0 out of 5 stars An all time favorite!, March 15, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Natalie's Secret #1 (Camp Confidential) (Paperback)
Let's just say that when Natalie Goode is sent to comp for eight weeks she isn't all that thrilled. Natalie prefers sushi and frappucino's as to fresh air, nature, and cookouts. Later Natalie finds out that camp isn't all that bad. There's just one thing, can she enjoy her summer without letting her secret get in the way? After I read this book, I now read every book in the series that's available. Well done Melissa J. Morgan! I really hope you continue the series!(:
