5.0 out of 5 stars Dance 'til you fall in love!, July 21, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Nataraj (Audio CD)
This music has been specifically created with Osho for the Osho Nataraj Meditation, which is "dancing" meditation in a series of revolutionary "Active Meditations" described in Osho's book "Meditation: The First and Last Freedom," from St. Martin's Press and others, and also available from amazon.com. These Active Meditations are designed for the modern restless mind. They lead you from intense physical activity to an experience of silence. People who love to dance and to celebrate will like the music of this CD. Meditating with this music is the best work out you can get!

There are three stages in the Nataraj Meditation lasting a total of 60 minutes: . With eyes closed dance as if possessed. Let your unconscious take over completely. Do not control your movements. Just be totally in the dance. "Let the dance flow in its own way; don't force it. Rather, follow it; allow it to happen. It is not a doing but a happening. Remain in the mood of fe! stivity. You are not doing something very serious; you are just playing, playing with your life energy, playing with your bioenergy, allowing it to move in its own way. Just like the wind blows and the river flows you are flowing and blowing. Feel it. And be playful. Remember that word "playful is very basic.

Other meditations in this series, each with its own music, and also available from amazon.com, are Osho Kundalini Meditation, Osho Nadabrahma Meditation and Osho Dynamic Meditation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dance your way to freedom, August 24, 2007

This review is from: Nataraj (Audio CD)
This beautiful meditation uses dance - nataraj means King of Dance - as a way to the Beyond. Where in other Osho-meditations it's important to stay a witness to what goes on, in this meditation the goal is to reach a point where the dancer is gone and only the dance remanins (which of course is easier said than done for many of us).

The meditation is in three stages. In the first you dance for 40 mins to some beautiful free-flowing and 'hippie-like' music by Deuter. This music that was channeled to him from Osho really gives the body the opportunity to move from the heart rather than from the sexcenter. To me the music makes me feel like I'm dancing in a meadow an early summermorning, the dewdrops still glistening on the leaves...

In the second stage you lie down leaving the everyday mind and its constant chattering behind, hoping for meditation to happen, realizing who you really are. This stage lasts 20 min, and in the last stage you dance in celebration for 5 min..

Nataraj can be done everywhere and anytime, although most people tend to use it as an afternoon/evening meditation.

This enhanced version has a video-segment to help you getting started in the best possible way.

Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars I love the Nataraj meditation!, December 1, 2008
This review is from: Nataraj (Audio CD)
I love the Nataraj meditation! All of the Osho meditations are great. I recommend any one of them: Nadabrahma, Kundalini, Dynamic... get them all and if you do the meditations, they will change your life. I put Nadabrahma on my iPod and work out to the music. It puts me into a wonderful trance state while on the treadmill. I know that's not the meditaiton, but it's a great option for finding peace, joy, and to reduce stress.
