This thing is WAY bigger than it looks in the pictures, or at Nathan's web page. Center console is very cavernous, and the wet suit container is actually large enough to hold mine (I'm 6'2"). The helmet carrier is right on the end, and the fold out transition pad is going to make setup much quick and means I have to bring one less towel. The side pouches are perfect, though the bottle holder is too small for the bottles I use. But it will hold other things, and my bottles are usually on my bike anyway. The lined pouches are great for my phones, and all the clear water-tight/resistant pocket liners will make finding things a lot easier. It being silver in color, with the inside almost white, it will show dirt pretty quick, but it's not like you're there to make a fashion statement. The shoulder straps are also going to be a god send, as I'm currently using a duffel bag with a shoulder strap, and slinging that along with my bike to setup is a PITA. This will be much better.

I bought this bag for my husband, as he is a new triathlete. Here is what he says about the bag: The bag is huge and can fit everything you need. I would like it to have a chest strap so it didn't shift around during biking. Also, the placement of the shoulder straps makes it difficult to see over it when trying to look over your shoulder while biking. Overall 4 stars.

This bag is much bigger than the pictures show. There are a few changes I would make but are not deal busters. I would put a second shoe pocket at the bottom. and I would add a chest strap. Other then those minor issues, this bag is great.

I read that this bag was large, but it is huge. I packed for a week-long vacation in it. It will easily hold everything you need for a race. There is only one shoe compartment, but that isn't too big a deal because there is plenty of room in the main compartment for your second pair. Likewise, the wetsuit "compartment" isn't nearly big enough to hold a real wetsuit but there is plenty of room in the main compartment. The shoulder straps are adequate. I wouldn't want to carry the bag fully loaded for a long time, but it's perfectly fine for getting to and from a race or through an airport, etc. I do wish there were options for how to carry it. It would be nice if it had a handle on top. I keep reaching for a way just to lift the bag and there's no way other than the shoulder straps. Also, a single long shoulder strap like a gym bag would be nice. The bag is too large to use for a daily workout bag to take to the gym, but perfect for more significant training outings where you need lots of gear, and of course, for races.

I am a marathoner who is transitioning into triathlons and needed a triathlon bag. I researched several styles and Nathan's offered the most compartments and even a fold out mat. I used it for the first time when I went to
Arizona for a marathon. I was able to pack everything I needed for the 4 day trip, and it even fit onto the plane as a carry on. The added bonus is that it can be carried as a bag pack!!
