4.0 out of 5 stars Fits Droid X; great for short runs
I love this pack. I bought it because I got a Droid X, and it doesn't fit into the back pocket of my running skirts and shorts like my old phone did. The belt stays put, doesn't bounce, and has extra reflective details for running in low light conditions. The snap buckle is nice and won't tear up your clothing like velcro can. I don't use the ID part because I wear a...

3.0 out of 5 stars Might be ok on my actual waist...
I got this to use when I run in places other than my neighborhood- to hold my car key and iPhone. They fit, even with a case on my iphone (and my key is a big remote key fob). So that is good.

The 2 stars I took off the rating is due to the bouncing. I suppose this would not bounce if I wore it around my actual waist...but that would look pretty dorky, I...

The belt stays put, doesn't bounce, and has extra reflective details for running in low light conditions. The snap buckle is nice and won't tear up your clothing like velcro can. I don't use the ID part because I wear a Road ID bracelet, but it would be useful for someone who doesn't have a separate ID. There's room for your name, phone # and emergency contact, then on the back you can write blood type and allergy info. Overall, a great product!

5.0 out of 5 stars No Bounce and Great For Short Runs, August 17, 2010

I love this running belt. I can fit nourishment(shot blocks), car keys, and money. With the stretchy material, I'm sure I can fit more but its not necessary for short runs. The belt is adjustable and the pak never bounces. I forget that I'm wearing it sometimes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Light weight and comfortable, October 1, 2010

I haven't used it a lot but I am content with the purchase. I got it for when I run outdoors. It's comfortable, although it sometimes moves. I can make it tighter but I have an issue with wearing things tightly around my waist. The weight is hardly noticeable. It was about an hour after my run and I had it on with my android phone still inside of it and I didn't realize it. Big enough for an android/iphone size phone and some kind of ID like a driver's license. Could probably get more in it since it expands a little. It's not sweat or water resistant and you can also see through the mesh. If you are someone who doesn't like to run with much on you, this is the pack for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!, September 15, 2010

I got this to use at the gym with my droid x (which is a huge phone and would look silly in an arm pouch on my tiny girl arms). First, it is a somewhat tight fit - but it fits! You can probably put a few extra things in there as well (I will be putting a small bag of sanitizing wipes in there, srsly). Second, unexpected added benefit - because this thing is mesh... you CAN actually use the phone while it's in the bag. Granted, it's in a semi tight pouch so maybe the side buttons will be hard to use unless you know exactly where they are and the visibility isn't perfect but a great added benefit in my opinion!

The top of the bag has a small zipper which seems to be well made. The bottom part of the bag has an area that flattens out as the bag expands. So even for a small bag, if you wanted to put other things in there with more bulk it should work pretty well.

FYI, the droid x is 5inches long, 2.5 inches wide, and about a half inch thick at the thickest part. I think it would be safe to say 5 inches is about the longest thing you can fit in there comfortably unless it is less wide as the bag is oval shaped.

I use this pack to run with my iPhone and use cool Apps available such as Nike GPS+ or iMapmyrun. It works perfectly. Absolutely no wobbling during run because pack stretches for a snug fit. I love this product! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to run with phone or car keys, ID or money.

3.0 out of 5 stars Might be ok on my actual waist..., October 23, 2011

The 2 stars I took off the rating is due to the bouncing. I suppose this would not bounce if I wore it around my actual waist...but that would look pretty dorky, I think...hiked way up like that. I was wanting this to work down around my hips where the top of my shorts/pants hit. When I wear it down there it does NOT stay and rides up no matter how tight i cinch it. I guess if I am wearing a black top (my pack is black) it would look less dorky and it would be good.

It doesn't bounce if i am just walking, btw....just when running.

3.0 out of 5 stars Basically what I was looking for, though "One Size" rarely fits all, October 30, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've taken up walking and jogging for weight loss and quickly discovered that if I wanted to go to a track, I needed somewhere to put my keys while running. Not wanting to buy, horror of horrors, a fanny pack, I settled on one of these runner's packs. I'm pleased with the quality and look of the item, and overall I do not regret the purchase.

However, I really, really, really wish "One size fits all" products would at least list the dimensions of the item. As I said, I'm walking/running for weight loss, so I hope this will fit more comfortably in time. Currently, I have to wear it very high on my chest in order to fasten it and it isn't as if that is super-comfortable. It also looks fantastically stupid, so I wear it under my clothes -- also not too comfy. I'm not blaming the company for my size, by any means, but if I could have found a measurement for the belt in the item description, I could have made a more informed purchase.

As it was, I just sort of had to cross my fingers and hope.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for health care workers!, October 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
As a medical student, I always have to carry a ton of things around with me, like notebooks, pocket-textbooks, gauze, pen lights, etc. My white coat gets very heavy very quickly, and I end up not having any space to put my wallet, keys, etc.

I bought this to wear under my scrubs to keep my driver's license, credit card, cash, and a small snack (Chewy bar, for example), so as not to sacrifice precious coat-pocket space for items I don't access as often. So far, it's been wonderful! There's also an added perk - if worn at the same hip level as scrub pants, you can use the elastic band/strap of this "runners pack" as a more secure/stable anchor for your beeper, stethoscope, etc.

3.0 out of 5 stars Low profile, nice color, August 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I needed something to hold my cell phone, possibly 2 phones with or without an Ipod for shorter runs when I'm not using my bottle-holder belt. The description said that it holds any size of cell phone. I have the HTC Thunderbolt and it's a TIGHT squeeze with just that phone; I wouldn't be able to fit my key chain or another phone. The mesh expands, but not THAT much. Also, I'm still trying to figure out how to wear it so it doesn't come loose and bounce around.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just what I need, November 23, 2010

This review is from: Nathan Shadow Pak Runners Pack (Sports)
I walk for fitness. I had a big fanny pack that I use to use during my walks. It was too big for just the keys and the iphone. It allowed the iphone to bounce a little with each step causing it to skip when i was listening to music on it. I bought this smaller slimmer waist pack to use for my walks and problem solved. Since it is smaller and thinner it holds the iphone closer to my body. That prevents it from moving around too much during the walk and therefore preventing the music on the iphone from skipping. Now when I go walking I don't leave home without it. ;-)
