Great fuel belt September 20, 2010
By Jordan
I bought this belt for marathon training and it has been fantastic. It is comfortable and does not bounce at all. I have taken it with me on runs up to 20 miles and had zero issues with chaffing. The pouch in front is large enough to hold a few packets of gu and a cell phone and the zipper pocket in the back is perfect for stashing keys. Highly recommended

I am all for comfort when running; I struggle to battle long runs mentally especially when I am not comfortable. I have tried other fuel belts and this by far is the best I've had. I tried a basic single water bottle belt, it was very warm on my back and also tried the two-bottle Amphipod hydration belt but I was disappointed because the bottles leak and when I fill it up with sports drinks it stains my clothing; it's also warm and very uncomfortable on my back no matter what adjustments I do. The Nathan waist pack is very well designed - it has an elastic waist band that is Velcro secured and can be easily adjusted to fit your hips, because it's elastic, it doesn't ride up to your waist. I like the fact that it can be placed on the hips since the other hydration belts I had can only be placed the waist (it usually rides up to the waist even if you place it on the hips) and can strain breathing. It's made of materials that are very breathable and it has a lot of functional pockets to stash your keys, ID, mp3 player etc. The bottles are easily accessed and the best part is, it does not leak! I think the best feature of this hydration belt is the inclusion of the Race Cap - it's a bottle cap that's designed for gels - it has a one-way valve that makes gel consumption easier during the race. I also use the Race Cap for water or sports drinks and it never leaked nor stained my clothes. I have taken this belt for my long runs and I was very comfortable, hydrated and I just wanna keep going for another mile.

Doesn't creep up June 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase
I am training for the Chicago Marathon and bought a Fuel Belt brand hydration belt. It kept creeping up from my hip to my waist and I had to keep adjusting it throughout the run. Decided to buy the Nathan 4 waist pack (with 4 eight ounce bottles) and love it. Ran 13 miles today and did not creep up from my hip to my waist at all. The flasks are easy to get out as well. Also, I was worried that my arm swing during the runs would bump up against the 2 flasks in the front/side area, but my flasks never got in the way of my arm swing. Very satisfied with this belt.

I would buy it again.
Best Belt I have owned. First it is elastic. In the past I have had to tighten belts down to a point that they are a little unconformable to stop it from riding up. Read more

Great hydration
I am very happy with this. The water bottles work well. Although there are four of the gel type lids, instead of the two and two described in the listing, that is not a problem. Read more
