From the Back Cover
Laugh your way to emotional good health with "Bill and Bob," a highly nutritional, easily digestible supplement for the soul. Here are a few of the life lessons Bob learns from Nathan as he journeys away from self-centeredness and toward spirituality.
"Failure isn't falling down; it's refusing to get up again."
"Life is only 10% what you make it and 90% how you take it."
"When you're going through Hell, keep moving"
"Happiness is wanting what you have and believing it is enough."
"Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans."
"Meaningful self improvement for the long term is seldom accomplished in the short term."
"When you're fearful, look for your shadow - because God is the spirit and light within you."
"The Vision is the ability to accept and understand God's will, if only in hindsight; it is the pot of gold at the end of the spiritual rainbow."
"Who we are is God's gift to us; what we become is our gift to Him."
About the Author
Jacqueline Clakre has spent most of her career in the travel industry directing advertising for the U.S. Government's now defunct national tourist office and product development for a large travel corporation where she also served as editor for their bi-monthly travel magazine. She considers her most important achievement, however, learning to live her life on a spiritual basis and appreciating her Higher Power's sense of humor. The Nathan Trilogy, funny adult parables about troubled tomcats who become happily and usefully whole through right living and spiritual growth, is a testament to what she's learned.
