I've been training for my first half marathon since last summer and I easily get dehydrated. I also have found that during races (particularly in the heat) I am very picky about when and what I drink. I bought a Nike belt with two bottles and a smaller pouch, but there was so much bounce that it was really awful. Then, I got this belt- HUGE difference for the better! The bottles are a good size and slip in and out easily and are the perfect size. My only gripe about the bottles is that it can be hard to close them without pushing down on the sippy part really hard, and if you don't you'll get splashed. There is little to no bounce when I am running. The pouch juuust fits my HTC Evo (a larger smartphone, but smaller than a Samsung Galaxy) with my headphone jack unzipped. The outside pocket is perfect for a small granola bar or a couple of tissues. It has been great to have the elastic grabbers on the belt itself in the winter to hold my gloves/hat/scarf as they become unnecessary. One of the best ideas on this belt is the velcro band that holds the extra length at the end so it doesn't flap around like a tail. I can't wait to have this with me for my first half marathon next month!

I like everything about this belt except that it rides up when I run. It doesn't matter if I wear it high or low on my hips or waist, make it super tight, it still rides up. I wish there were clips, or velcro, or something to help keep it in place. I didn't have a problem with the water bottles leaking when I made sure the tops were pushed down all the way.

The Nathan pack met my expectations except for the pouch. I had hoped it would be big enough to comfortably fit my iPhone which is enclosed in an Otterbox. However, the front pouch is not large enough to accommodate it without forcing it in sideways. Otherwise it's a great running accessory.

I bought this water bottle pack for my wife. She uses it every time she goes in long runs. She loves it. Very light weight, convenient, and just the right amount of water.
