5.0 out of 5 stars The only treat that worked
I got a new dog this January and I had tried 5 different treats to no avail, cookies, 3 different bacon types, and a some meat type in a bone shape cookie. He didn't care for any of them. I love Nathan's hot dogs and when I saw this on my Walmart shelf for my dog, I knew I had to try it. I was sold as soon as I read "human grade". These treats aren't compromised with...

1.0 out of 5 stars Moldy sausages
Some bags contain moldy sausages and they all have a label showing LOT 0273. I still have the bags with moldy sausages in my refrigerator.
I opened the bag and feed the treat to my pet without realizing some of the sausage are moldy. Until I take a closer look at it when my pet refused the treat, then I realized the problem. The bags was not opened some time ago and...

These treats aren't compromised with a bunch of weird fillers that really aren't good for our pets. He loves these treats so much that I have been able to teach him 4 new tricks just by holding the bag in front of him. If you like having home deliveries, I recommend the Amazon subscription, it comes out to almost the same price as my neighborhood Walmart but I enjoy the convience of front door deliveries with Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Nathan Treats, August 30, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Treats, All Beef, 4-Ounce Ziplock Bags (Pack of 4) (Grocery)
My dog BJ is a bichone frise and he loves these Nathan treats. I keep them in a 3 drawer cabinet in the kitchen and when he wants them he just goes to the cabinet and put's his paws on the top and starts beating on the cabinet. Barking also as in I want my nathan treats right now. When we run out sometimes he does not like it when I tell him they are all gone but mommy has ordered more and they will be here in a few days. I have to open the drawer and pick him up and show him there are none in the drawer. My BJ is adorable and I love him so much.

My dog loves Nathan's - they are the only dog treats that she will eat and I can no longer find them locally. Thanks to Amazon for selling them and for the great price and ease of ordering.

5.0 out of 5 stars my dogs favorite, January 17, 2008

My 5 dogs just absolutely love these. Was purchasing these at Walmarts but they stopped carrying them. I didn't realize that they were supposed to be refrigerated but it didn't matter since they don't last long around my house
with all the poochies anyway.

1.0 out of 5 stars Moldy sausages, April 1, 2010

Some bags contain moldy sausages and they all have a label showing LOT 0273. I still have the bags with moldy sausages in my refrigerator.
I opened the bag and feed the treat to my pet without realizing some of the sausage are moldy. Until I take a closer look at it when my pet refused the treat, then I realized the problem. The bags was not opened some time ago and the sausage used in a later day.
I called up Amazon and they replaced the shipment with no delay and apologized.
I also called up the phone number shown on the plastic bag but have not yet heard from the manufacturer.
I believe this is as serious as the pet feed that killed some of the pets last years that was contaminated and manufactured in China.

My dog just loves these treats however they must be kept in fridge after opening or they will spoil (got moldy). They are still the greatest, your dog will love these little hot dogs.

3.0 out of 5 stars OUR BENGI LOVES NATHAN'S HOWEVER IT APPEARS THAT ALL 4 PACKAGES OF SAUSAGE ARE DRIED OUT WITH A JULY 2011 EXP DATE, October 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Treats, All Beef, 4-Ounce Ziplock Bags (Pack of 4) (Grocery)

BENGI JUST LOVES NATHAN'S SAUGAGES BUT I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY ALL 4 PACKAGES CONTAINED DRIED OUT SAUSAGES WITH AN EXPIRATION DATE OF JULY, 2011.
I WOULD QUESTION AMAZON WHY THEY ARE GETTING OLD PRODUCTS TO SELL WHEN THE SHELF LIFE MIGHT BE AS MUCH AS 2 YEARS? I QUESTION AMAZON FOR AN ANSWER???
IT IS DIFFICULT TO LOCATE THIS PRODUCT IN THE STORES IN NEW JERSEY. SOMETIMES THEY HAVE IT BUT MOST OF THE TIME DO NOT.....
