Format: Audio CD
Like Broken Social Scene and a handful of other bands, Apostle of Hustle provide a complicated musical feast while sounding as breezy and as laid back as these uber talented chaps probably are. These Canadian guys along with their fellow countrymen seem to be able to ride the edge of throw away new age melodrama with the palpable desolation of the early 2000's and make some compelling music. Even as bands like Arcade Fire are clearly trying very hard, they still overcome their associations and create something new. That is what I find in this fine band.

#2,5,10 & 11 are my favorites. Read a tintsy review in Men's Health Best Life and just took a chance. A chance well rewarded with so many listens it borders on downright silly. Like your favorite item of clothing, you'll want to throw this on for just about any occasion.
