2.0 out of 5 stars Very limited., April 3, 2000

This review is from: National Audubon Society Pocket Guide to Familiar Mushrooms (National Audubon Society Pocket Guides) (Paperback)
Although pictures are attractive, they can also be misleading, especially in the case of mushrooms -- this book relies too heavily on photography to identify specimens. Its limited number of described species (and limited descriptions) make it virtually useless for all but the most striking, distinctive fungi.
