Maybe it is my interpretation of chambray that caused my disappointment in this product. The material was not soft and appeared that it would require ironing after each wash. The fit was excellent and appeared to be well made.

Not chambray,

I ordered this item larger than I needed because I wanted something cool and comfortable. I like the fit (which is large), but the fabric is very cheap. It's thin and the only relationship it has to chambray is the color (I bought the blue). It's far too thin to wear outside the home. The price was OK, but I'd expected a bit more substance to the fabric.
