Great tool for your arsenal!,

I have been stumbling with my past bids and needed an additional tool to help me come closer to the actual costs. Although this release is two years old it has TONS of information and with a visit to your supplier you can get current costs, make the adjustments, and come out on top!
I really liked the ability to change the costs in the software included so I don't have to make the adjustments on every job.

I have the 2004 and downloaded the 2008 with CD... This is a great tool for the experienced electrician / contractor. As a novice estimator it is a little cumbersome... as an experienced computer person in a tiny business it is an excellent tool... this program doesn't help with material takeoff... you have to know what you will use to be accurate, but it has all sorts of little nuances to help you cushion your bid in the event you forget the little things. It will create professional looking estimates and invoices. If you want personalized invoices it will allow you to export the information into quick books. I highly recommend it - it is very easy to add text to the titles of material to make it easier to use your own terminology and easier to search for a specific item. It is straight forward in allowing you to change labor and material cost per item and as a whole.. I really like this program and highly recommend it.
