2.0 out of 5 stars my opinion, January 9, 2010
This review is from: National Gallery of Art, Second Edition (World of Art) (Paperback)
pros: many beautiful paintings.
cons: approx. half of each page is allotted for text, which makes for small pictures since the book is only 8" x 6". not much fun for the people who buy these books specifically for the purpose of viewing the art.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good overview of each piece, October 14, 2010

This review is from: National Gallery of Art, Second Edition (World of Art) (Paperback)
This book is more about the story behind the works than a means to view the work. This book is sold at the gallery as a reference to refer to while you're walking around the gallery. If you're purpose is to just view the works, there are other large format books that serve that purpose.
