5.0 out of 5 stars excellent!, August 23, 2007

This review is from: National Geographic Field Guide to Birds: Pennsylvania (Paperback)
The pictures are wonderful! I have a bird feeder outside my window and have seen many birds that I didn't recognize. The pictures are perfect! I now know what type they are. Other bird books have either drawings or the pictures aren't very clear, or show a terrible likeness...with these pictures I know exactly what I'm looking at! And the information about them is very interesting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Birder fro, June 29, 2008
This review is from: National Geographic Field Guide to Birds: Pennsylvania (Paperback)
My beloved from Florida is a amateur ornithologist. We have wonderful birds come to our back yard feeder. This lovely book has helped him identify our Pennsylvania birds, and I mightily thank the author for such a thorough review. Helene B. Leonetti, MD

5.0 out of 5 stars Gift for bird watcher, December 30, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: National Geographic Field Guide to Birds: Pennsylvania (Paperback)
This book was a great gift for an avid bird watcher. She is 90 and knows the personality of every bird in her backyard. We bought her this book to identify and a journal to track their visits. She was thrilled. I only wish the binding was spiral so the book would lay flat.
