4.0 out of 5 stars Good for Day Trips
I debated between the small and the medium bag because the medium bag was enormous on my small frame (5'2"). After many trips to the city, I found the small bag to hold up nicely. However, now that I am going on an international trip, I feel like I should have gotten the medium sized bag. Also, with a larger lens (Nikon D60 with 18-200mm lens), I found that I had to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Great bag, but not for me...
I didn't know if I wanted the small or the medium, so I ordered both. First off, awesome bags. Well made, with the exception of the Velcro not lining up with the pocket. I really, really, really wanted to love this bag, but it just looks sooooo HUGE and unattractive on my back. I tried to pat it down so it wasn't as bulky, but even empty it was huge. I would have used...

I debated between the small and the medium bag because the medium bag was enormous on my small frame (5'2"). After many trips to the city, I found the small bag to hold up nicely. However, now that I am going on an international trip, I feel like I should have gotten the medium sized bag. Also, with a larger lens (Nikon D60 with 18-200mm lens), I found that I had to reconfigure the inside compartments so the camera lays from left to right rather than top to bottom. This forces me to configure the rest of the compartments oddly so I lost one of the four additional squares I had.
The construction of the bag is very high quality and the added rain bag is a plus. It's made of a soft canvas with heavy duty straps for carrying larger items outside of the pack. Unless you have a netbook, don't count on a real computer fitting in the back. I couldn't even get my work laptop (15") to fit.
Overall, I love the bag. I just wish it was a bit bigger but not as bulky as the medium one.

This bag is great for day trips. I wouldn't use it as primary storage for my laptop, because a 15in Macbook Pro does stick up out of the padded compartment (just like it shows in the picture).

I bought this backpack for my Sony SLT-A55V Camera, It stores my Camera with 18-250 lens attached to it. It also stores lens filters. Also it carries my Sony Camcorder with all accesories.

It has more pockets than needed, so keep more of your accessories.

The best part it, It fits in my Sony Vaio 14.5" screen Laptop comfortably with charger.

I have travelled with this to Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam and this product did come in Handy

All in one, I would definately recommend this to anybody who has to store more than a Camera.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great bag, November 3, 2011

I bought this bag in May and since then I have traveled to Europe, Mexico and India. The bag has held up really well, it hardly looks used at all. I am able to fit my small Toshiba netbook, my D3100, 2 lenses, and the body of my husbands D90 in the bag at once. However, when I have all of that stuff in the bag it looks pretty bulky and it is actually pretty heavy. The construction of the bag is very nice and I love all of the extra pockets for snacks etc. Overall, I think it's a great bag and I would definitely recommend it.

I really, really, really wanted to love this bag, but it just looks sooooo HUGE and unattractive on my back. I tried to pat it down so it wasn't as bulky, but even empty it was huge. I would have used this bag everywhere I go when I've got my camera, and I would have thought people were giving nerdy looks at all the places.

Give it a try... you may love it. Excellent bag, but wasn't for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars good bag but too small, laptop doesn't fit, June 17, 2011

I wish I had bought a medium in this bag. I found it to be too small for my needs when I traveled in Europe for 3 weeks. I was able to put my camera and my lenses in it, but not much else. You can shove a 12" laptop in the bag, but it's a tight fit. You could easily fit an ipad in the bag though.

On the plus side:
Lot of pockets to put things in
The divider opens up between the two compartments in the bag.
Well padded
Easy to carry and adjust

On the down side:
Too small
It's very hard to shove a 12" laptop in there. If you want a camera bag to carry a laptop and a camera+ lenses, this is not it.
Some velcro would be nice to keep the top cover on so you don't always have to latch it with the fasteners.
Sometimes I thought there were too many pockets.
Lots of fasteners, not for the old or arthritic.

Extremely useful backpack, fit for Canon Rebel with lens plus 2 other lenses, room for iPad, but there is not much space left. NeXT time I Will buy the medium one.

5.0 out of 5 stars stylish with an attitude, February 6, 2011

As a lady I am picky on style. Most of the camera bags on the market are in dark colours (black or dark gray) and they are very bulky. The beauty about this bag is that it doesn't look like a camera bag and I am less concerned about getting unnecessary attention when I travel. Everything is very "Earthy" and it promotes environmental awareness. Even the string for the price tag is made of hemp instead of the conventional plastic. It is however a bit small for my Nikon D700 with lenses but I am overall very happy with it.

i love this camera bag. perfect for my outdoor activities and carrying around camera equipment. nice size for minimal equipment.

i gave it four stars only because it sits funny on my back, but that's probably because i am a rather small person.

nice product, fast shipping.
