4.0 out of 5 stars A great day pack for hiking/biking adventures and an OK one for travelling, January 23, 2012
I tried to pack my small rucksack with bunch of things that one normally takes for travelling. My boyfriend bought this for me from amazon.com. This is mostly a nice "day pack". It does not easily fit my 13" macbook. It also does not have an extra layer at the bottom to make me feel comfortable with placing it on any surface (snow, dirt, etc.). But if you like to go hiking or biking and yet carry your camera without backache, this is a great choice and for that matter, I really like it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent bag, I wish for it's 'big brother' for volume., September 28, 2011
This review is from: National Geographic NG W5050 Walkabout Small Rucksack Bag (Electronics)
I've used a couple of nylon / plastic bags before, and wasn't very happy with them. As example, the stitches would come apart after a while.

This bag is of good quality and well designed. Stitches hold, equipment is easy to access, and is well padded. Can't attest to it's water proofing, as there's not much rain around here.

The bag is big enough to hold a 5Dmk2 w/ EF 24-105mm, Sigma 12-24mm DG HSM II (w/o pouch) / two small primes, EF 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II, a flash, misc items (batteries, filters, etc), and a laptop at the back.

It's probably a schtick of mine, but I wish I could stuff it with another lens.

The bag doesn't broadcast "Photography Gear Inside !", but considering the size, quality, and National Geographic metal plate, it doesn't broadcast "Dirty Underwears Inside, Look Elsewhere !" either.
