A video to teach Tropical Ecology, February 14, 2004
This review is from: National Geographic: Panama Wild: Rain Forest of Life [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I am using this video for years in my field ecology courses and the best feature is to see a rainforest by the eyes of researchers! By using this video you can teach about rainforest structure and dynamics, ecology theory and also to introduce ideas about students field projects! I have almost ten videos about this subject and this one is the BEST for undergraduate students.

With beautiful photography and informative interviews, this video is a wonderful introduction to the tropical forest. The video focuses on Barro Colorado Island and features information about monkeys, bats, frogs, plants, and a few small mammals. Interviews with international researchers make this a lively video.
