5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Film. Great for the whole family.
Spectacular photography and great music written by Alan O'Day. I watch this one over and over and I love it every time. It's really made for kids, but I think adults will like it also. It's worth buying. I love the opening song about Lions and "Stripes" written for the zebras. The closing song "The heart that beats in Africa" is awesome.

2.0 out of 5 stars I agree with the first reviewer...
My 2 year old son really enjoys the tape for the variety of animals, but would probably be just as interested in a tape geared toward a more adult audience? He is not interested in the Spin character at all. Dudley Moore sounds like he's not getting paid enough to do the job! The information is not very well organized and the music (more than is necessary, in my opinion)...

The information is not very well organized and the music (more than is necessary, in my opinion) is cheesy. The photography of the animals is great, but that's the only redeeming quality of this tape.

This video is excellent for people young and old alike, who enjoy jokes, excerpts of classic movies, animals and excellent original music. High quality funny jokes by Dudley Moore make it a classic to be enjoyed, treasured and passed on to the next generation. I bought this for my two year old son in 1996 and now my four year old daughter in 2010. A classic and a treasure. A must have!
