5.0 out of 5 stars Classic!, April 29, 2005
This review is from: National Healthcare (Audio CD)
This album takes me back to when I saw Karen Black's show at The Lost Horizon in Syracuse. This was it! Karen and Company played my favorite "Neighborachi" to a packed house of screaming fans. No one in the pit was safe when she stage dove into the crowd, and neither was she! She lost her little white frock quicker than, "I still have a shred of it I personaly ripped off her body..." That was after she stood on her head and had her cohorts smash paint filled eggs on her p@#$y. She also played "Alaska" which was a riot. It's out there for sure, but this album is the key to that wild night for me. If you know the Voluptuous Horror, you need this album!

5.0 out of 5 stars Phat !!!!!, August 19, 1999

This albumn (Black Date) is a lotta fun. It's all straight up rock n' roll, with dashes of campyness, and heaping spoonsfulls of spunkiness. On vocals is a gorgeous super-energetic semi-goth girl who sings alot like the guy from AC/DC would if he were castrated. Totally underrated. I LOVE it. -Croondoggy
