Providing significant new and in-depth information about the financing and management of immunization programs in countries in East and Central Asia, these reports aim to help strengthen Asian Development Bank's health sector operations in the member countries discussed. The main objectives of these assessments are to estimate current and future costs of the program, including additional costs associated with strengthening and expanding the program; identify future funding sources, and determine financing gaps; and provide recommendations on finance and finance policy issues as they relate to program strengthening and overall financial sustainability. The assessments may also prove useful for immunization financial planning, policy dialogue, and funding negotiation with donors and international agencies.
