I Enjoyed It,
This review is from: National Treasure: A Gates Family Mystery #4: Westward Bound (Paperback)
They gave the wrong describtion of the book.
In 1848 James Munroe Gates wants to escape his lonley life at his family's businesses, and prove to his family his worth. His chance comes when letters from his aunt, who lives in the untamed west, arrive and have mysterious verses writen in code. James is entranced by the clues, and though he despices his family's trait of treasure-hunting, he sees his chance to get away from his life. Tagging along with him is an old family friends's son, Seasmus Poole, and a runaway aristocrat. The three are detirmined to go West, but soon the aristocrats family is hot on their trail, willing to do anything, even murder, to get the runaway back in their hands. Now, the trio must evade the murderous group, travel west to their fortunes, and follow the clues to the most unlikely of treasures. Its a really good book, I was pleased that the treasure was different from gold and silver. I hope people can enjoy it.
