This review is from: National Treasure: The History of Trans Canada Airlines (Hardcover)
"National Treasure" is a minutely researched masterwork that chronicles the history of Trans Canada Airlines, now Air Canada.
The photos are well chosen and expertly captioned by someone who has a great love for the subject. The author has proved himself with the eight other books on Canadian aviation history and "National Treasure" is by far the most detailed of the lot. I take offence to the previous reviewer as until Mr. Pigott began writing on the subject Canadian aviation was poorly served by hack writers and anecdotal pseudo aviation historians - in effect living off the memories of real aviators.
This book is a good "read" not only for the discerning aviation buff but anyone interested in Canadian history.

An error-riddled effort that breaks no new ground. Selection and reproduction of photos is mediocre.
