This book serves not only to showcase the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., but as a brief overview of the war. It is written at a very low level. This is one of the first books I have come across that is appropriate for lower elementary grades that still gives good information about a part of our country's history. The pictures are very nicely done. Definitely recommend!!
