5.0 out of 5 stars A Really Great Game
Without a doubt, JoWoods, The Nations, is one of the best games I have ever played. It is a cinch to learn how to play. It contains great graphics, (the music isn't bad either,) realistic sounds and,if you have trouble or, just want to ask a question or comment on something, there is two forums in which you can do this. You will also recieve an answer to your questions,...

1.0 out of 5 stars Looks fun, if you knew how to play it
The game looks really great, the only downfall to it is I have not discovered a MANUAL. I couldn't find one in paper form, nor in pdf form on the cd. I contacted Jowood who wrote the game, and didn't get much help at all.

You will also recieve an answer to your questions, either on the web page or via email. This means a lot to those of us who have spent fifty bucks or more on a game, only to find that something was wrong and there was no where to ask about the problem or, you never got a response to your inquiry. Whichever race you elect to play, Amazon, Pimmon, or Saijaka, I think most gammers will agree that this game is a lot of fun, isn't really all that hard or simple to win or lose and, a game you never really tire of playing time after time. Now that the publishers have given some much needed Cheat Codes, this makes the game even more fun than it was. I give this one five stars for excellence and, in my opinion, there isn't many games out there which can hold a candle to The Nations.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Game, June 15, 2005
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: The Nations (CD-ROM)
So far, I have really enjoyed playing this game. The only problem that I have had with it was the first time that I tried to play. It would just shut off after clicking on the "play the nations" button in the menu. I went to the website for help, and decided to download the three patches for this game. After I installed the patches, I tried to play again, and it worked the first time! This game is great, and especially for the price, but I definitely recommend downloading the patches.

Jowood Makes alot of interesting games. The Nations is definetely one of their best. If you like games like Majesty this one is for you! And for you P.C. games out there like me, Amazon.com has made it a very special price. I've bought something from amazon before and its good quality. if you don't want to spend alot get it here. Build cities with everything you could expect, townhall, warehouse, police stations, guard towers, and three species to command!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun, December 21, 2002
This review is from: The Nations (CD-ROM)
The nations is really cool. It's got trippy graphics and so many different possibilities. You can adjust the speed of the game, which is a bonus. The only problem I can see it you run out of stone but it's not that bad since you can always buy more. All in all, it's so worth it! And I love the complexity.

4.0 out of 5 stars A little Weird, May 26, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Nations (CD-ROM)
I am unsure about one thing about this game. Ever since I started playing it I have had the weirdest dreams. I'm not sure if it is the blue people or the Amazons, but something weird is happening.

I do like the game, and the price is great. Just be cautioned you may have some weird dreams with Amazonians' stopping in.
