I used this book as a reference for a paper I wrote in school and it had some fantastic information. My teacher loved it, not too bias one direction or another while maintaining a sense of empathy that the Natives so rightfully deserve. Includes very nice photos. If you are looking for something really in depth this might not be for you (as the word encyclopedia implies), but for a vague overview of lots of native cultures, their history, their crafts, this is a great book for sure.
